HEADLINES: 2nd arrest warrant out for Atong Ang | Jan. 17, 2026

Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla, together with Philippine National Police–Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) Chief MGen. Robert Morico II and Bureau of Immigration Legal Division Chief Arvin Santos, announces during a press briefing on Jan. 15, 2026, that the DILG is offering a ₱10 million reward for information leading to the arrest of businessman Charlie 'Atong' Ang, the alleged mastermind in the 'missing sabungeros' case. Remulla said Ang was considered armed and dangerous, prompting the Philippine National Police to intensify efforts to locate him.
