WITH inflation continuing to surprise to the downside, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has increasing room to deepen its easing cycle should economic growth falter, analysts said.Headline inflation came in at just 1.4 percent in June, slightly higher than May’s 1.3 percent but still below market expectations and the BSP’s 2.0- to 4.0-percent target.
